Capital Sci Fi Con is now in its 7th year and back with a bang after a virtual event in 2021!
With everything costing more, and with a few regulars unable to support this year, we’ve been let down with a couple of things right at the last minute. Can you help CHAS with any of the below items?
- Tech prizes – for the cosplay competitions, we’ve previously been able to offer and iPad or other tech-y prizes but unfortunately don’t have any yet this year. We would usually have 1 for adults and 1 for the younger people.
- Sandwiches – we usually supply our VIPs, volunteers and celeb guests with sandwiches for their lunches over the 2 days, but we’ve not managed to secure any just yet. We’re looking for about 100 for Saturday and 100 for Sunday.
- 9 Seater People Movers – the cost of these has almost doubled since the last time we held this event, so we’re looking to see if anyone can help get us a deal on 2 vehicles that we can rent from the 22-25 July.
- Goody Bags – our VIPs receive a goody bag filled with nice little treats and gifts and we’re looking for a donation of actual bags and maybe a sweetie or drink that we could include in them.
The more of these items we can receive in kind donations, the more money we will be able to raise for children in Scotland living with a life-shortening condition.
