Make Happiness your Goal in 2023

Depression is cited as the leading cause of disability and disease worldwide, according to WHO (World Health Organisation).

What can we do?

“Start by acknowledging that happiness takes work”, said Lynn Erasmus, keynote speaker and happiness facilitator.

Like any skill we wish to learn; we need to study and practice it daily for it to manifest in our thoughts and behaviours, she said.

That is why she created the 6-week Happiness Program, launching to Beta testers in January, to help individuals struggling to maintain their levels of happiness, sustainably. She teaches the science behind Happiness and how your body is designed to create its own dose of happy chemicals to achieve your goals towards sustainable happiness. She explains that Dopamine is released in your body when you receive a reward, such as ticking off the last item on your to-do list and you can create more Dopamine naturally in your body without taking chemicals.

You will learn about the three P’s - Pleasure, Peace and Passion and how to include them in your daily life, consistently. The importance of ACT and so much more, while having fun and connecting with like-minded people.

“I personally understand the importance of looking after our own mental health, especially during the dark and dreary months ahead of us. First step: pitch up, I will take care of the rest,” Lynn said.
