Courier Business Awards in association with Henderson Loggie Launched

Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce is proud to be supporting The Courier Business Awards in association with Henderson Loggie. Nominations are now open and there is a wide variety of categories you can nominate your business in.

You can enter in the following categories:

Agriculture, Digital and Online, Family, Growth, Manufacturing, Retail, Science and Technology, Services, Social Impact, Tourism, Leisure and Hospitality, Young Business and Small Business. There are two further categories, Outstanding Contribution and Business of the Year, which are chosen by the prestigious panel of judges.

STAR-Dundee won the 2013 Business of the Year Award at the inaugural ceremony last year, and Steve Parkes, Managing Director, said of the award \"After winning The Courier\'s Business of the Year award a lot more people knew about us and all the other exciting local businesses.\"

Courier editor Richard Neville said the response to the 2013 awards had been phenomenal, and he hoped the same enthusiasm would be evident in 2014. \"We launched the Courier Awards because we wanted to showcase east central Scotland as the thriving commercial hub we knew it to be. But we were not prepared for the overwhelming response we received from businesses large and small. The awards evening proved the entrepreneurial spirit was alive and well in this area.\"
