Carers Week 2023: 'Recognising and supporting carers in the community'
Dundee Carers Centre is hosting a Carers of Dundee Celebration Event at C-Gate on Wednesday 7th June from 1-6pm. The event is open to all carers and disabled people, families, the workforce and businesses/organisations.
- Information stalls (1-6pm)
- Carers Café – pop along for a hot drink and a light bite (1-3pm
- Creative writing: a group of carers will be showcasing their work (3-4pm)
- Giveaways, therapies and performances will all be on offer!

From 4-6pm we will also be thanking businesses and organisations who have signed up to the Dundee Carers Charter by presenting them with their certificates. About Carers Week
Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don't think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support. Carers Week is led by Carers UK with the support of a number of other charities.
