Al-Maktoum College Hosts Egyptian Government Agency for Bespoke Course

A leading Egyptian government agency is holding a five-day course in Dundee to learn about the best practices in good governance.
 
Sixteen members of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development are taking part in a bespoke course hosted by Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education.
 
Academics and guest speakers will present to members of various Egyptian government agencies at the Blackness Road college from July 29 to August 1.
 
Among the topics covered on the course will be Agile Public Administration and Future Government, Corporate Culture and Human Capital Management and Applications for AI and Blockchain for Governance Leadership.
 
Dr A. G. Abubaker, Head of College and Vice-Chancellor of Al-Maktoum College, said: “We are delighted to welcome the first cohort organised by NIGSD to Dundee and to spend some time working with them here at the College.
 
“One of the strengths of our team is being able to work with businesses and public sector organisations to craft bespoke courses which can call on our expertise in areas of public administration. We are sure that our guests from Egypt will get a warm welcome in Dundee.”
 
The NIGSD is the training and development arm for the Egyptian government working under the supervision of the Ministery for Planning and Economic Development.
