Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that five local businesses have been shortlisted for the prestigious British Chamber of Commerce Awards, which recognise the best of British business across a variety of sectors. These awards highlight companies that have shown excellence in innovation, growth, sustainability, and social impact, and being shortlisted places these businesses among the best in the UK.
In the Digital Revolution category, tech innovators Zudu have been recognized for their cutting-edge digital solutions, helping businesses transform and thrive in a digital-first world. Blaze Manufacturing, a leading provider of fire safety protection, detection, and loss prevention solutions for challenging environments, has been shortlisted in the Global Britain category for their impressive international reach and growth strategy. The Green Innovation category features Here’s The Plan Ltd, which is honoured for its forward-thinking sustainability solutions. In the Local Economy of the Future category, EQ Accountants stand out for their work in building a resilient and progressive local economy. Lastly, Street Soccer Scotland has been recognized in the People & Work category for their life-changing efforts to use sport as a vehicle for social change, particularly in transforming the lives of vulnerable individuals.
The British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) Awards are a national celebration of the work being done by businesses across all chambers of commerce in the UK. The awards span a variety of categories, from digital innovation to global growth, and place a spotlight on businesses that are driving the future of British commerce. The DACC finalists will now go on to compete in the national rounds, where they will represent Dundee & Angus on a larger stage, showcasing the incredible talent, innovation, and impact our region has to offer.

The Chamber Business Awards is one of the showpiece events in the business calendar, recognising and promoting the best of British business through a series of regional heats, culminating in a campaign to showcase our winning businesses on an international stage.
The national winners will be announced in October, and the Winner of Winners will be announced at the London Stock Exchange on Wednesday 20 November.
