Festive cheer on wheels: Stagecoach brings joy to the local community this Christmas

This festive season, Stagecoach has gone above and beyond to bring joy and support to the local community through a series of festive initiatives. From donations to local foodbanks to delivering gifts to children in need, the company has made it a priority to give back to the people who make up its vibrant community.
In a generous show of support for families facing challenging times this winter, four of Stagecoach’s local depots have donated over 500 selection boxes to local foodbanks, as part of a staff survey initiative.
Continuing its mission to spread joy, Stagecoach also played a key role in supporting Tay FM’s Christmas gift appeal. The company delivered a bus load of gifts for children, collected through generous donations from employees and the community. These gifts will be distributed to children across the area who might otherwise have gone without.
Bringing the magic of Christmas directly to families, Stagecoach hosted several Santa’s Grotto bus events across East Scotland throughout the season. Families were invited to book a free slot on a festive bus, where children could meet Santa, share their wish lists, and receive a special gift. These events, designed to create lasting memories for children, were met with overwhelming enthusiasm.
As Christmas approached, Stagecoach made a last-minute visit to Kennoway Primary School to deliver presents to the nursery and P1 children. The presents were kindly donated by local community group, The Friends of Kennoway, and the visit ensured that each child had a gift to unwrap this Christmas. The unexpected visit was met with great excitement, bringing joy and festive cheer to the students and staff alike.
