Volunteering Opportunities with Tayside Council on Alcohol

Published

Want to make a difference? We are looking for volunteers to train as Intandem mentors supporting young people (aged 7-15) living in kinship care in Dundee. You'll be trained and matched with a young person who you'll meet weekly for approx. one year and spend time getting to know each other. You might try new activities together, visit new places and support your mentee to set goals. Young people tell us the most important qualities of a mentor are being able to listen, be up for having fun, and turn up consistently to spend time with them. If you can be there for a young person in kinship care, we'd love to hear from you. It could be the best thing you've ever done!
