Perth headquartered integrated communications agency, Cunningly Good Group, is celebrating a decade of accreditation as a Real Living Wage employer, a significant milestone that underscores the company’s unwavering commitment to fair pay and people-first values.

Accredited by the Living Wage Foundation in partnership with the Poverty Alliance, the award-winning agency first earned its Living Wage Employer status in 2015. At the time, it joined a pioneering movement to voluntarily pay all staff and third-party contractors a wage that reflects the real cost of living, not just the government minimum.
Over the past ten years, this principle has been a cornerstone of the company’s culture, shaping its reputation as a progressive, family friendly employer and amplifying its impact well beyond its own team.

Tricia Fox, founder and CEO of Cunningly Good Group said: “Paying the real living wage isn’t just about payroll, it’s about people. A good day’s work deserves a good day’s pay and, if we want to see poverty eliminated in our lifetime, it has to start with businesses stepping up. I know that times are tougher than they were ten years ago, and the costs of employment have risen exponentially in the same time frame. However many employers are struggling to fill posts, and with an ageing workforce, retention is going to become critical to business success over the forthcoming decade. I’m proud that we were among the first wave of businesses leading that charge and, ten years in, we’re more committed than ever.”

When the agency was first accredited, the Living Wage stood at £7.85 per hour, already £1.35 higher than the national minimum wage at the time. In the years since, Cunningly Good Group has kept pace with each annual adjustment, ensuring every member of its team, including suppliers and freelancers, receives a wage that reflects a decent standard of living.

Katherine Chapman, Director of the Living Wage Foundation, said:

“We are delighted to congratulate Cunningly Good Group on reaching 10 years as an accredited Living Wage Employer. Businesses like Cunningly Good show that paying fairly isn’t just ethical, it’s smart. It builds loyalty, boosts morale, and reinforces a culture of respect. By committing to the real Living Wage year after year, they are helping to raise the bar for what decent work looks like in the UK.”
