The Astute Group welcomed pupils from Brechin High School and Montrose Academy as part of an ongoing partnership with DYW Tay Cities, aimed at inspiring the next generation of creative professionals.
Hosted by Co-Owner Barry Sellars and Digital Marketing & Strategy Lead Babajide Olowookere, the visit gave pupils Luke and Katie (though Katie was unable to attend on the day) a unique opportunity to explore the world of marketing beyond the classroom. They were accompanied by Davie, a dedicated school liaison, and support assistant Samantha.
The session combined live project examples with informal conversations, offering a hands-on view of what a career in branding, design and strategy looks like day to day. Babajide also gifted two books, This is Marketing by Seth Godin and 500 Social Media Marketing Tips by Andrew Macarthy, to support the students' ongoing development.

The business is now exploring opportunities for future work experience placements through DYW Tay Cities for pupils who show interest and potential in the creative sector.
Special thanks were extended to Mrs Cormack, Deputy Head of Brechin Community Campus, for championing pupil development and encouraging young people to explore new possibilities.
