Nicholl HR Turns Two – A Big Thank You and Exciting News from Director, Lucy Nicholl
Two years ago, it was just me, my laptop, and a vision to help small and growing businesses navigate the world of HR with confidence. Fast forward to today, and I’m thrilled to say Nicholl HR has supported more than 40 amazing businesses across Scotland – from hospitality and the third sector to trades and service-based industries – with everything from quick contract reviews to complete HR strategy overhauls.
It’s been an incredible journey, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the clients who put their trust in me, the colleagues who have cheered me on, and the talented professionals who have joined me along the way. This year, I’ve welcomed freelance support with admin, HR casework, and operations, which has not only helped me take on more clients but also made me realise… the first official employee might not be far off!
One of the biggest milestones yet is just around the corner – in September, Nicholl HR will be moving into a permanent office space in Arbroath. I can’t wait to welcome clients there, host meetings, and create a base for the growing team.
We’re also preparing to launch a new service later this year, designed for businesses that can’t afford ongoing outsourced support but still need access to expert HR advice.
