As the founder of Diversity Bridge SCIO, Edward recently led the successful completion of a 7-week Digital Inclusion Programme for New Scots, helping participants build confidence and essential digital skills for employment and everyday life.

The closing event, hosted at Sir Arthur Grant Residential Centre, included recognition for two participants who showed exceptional consistency throughout the programme. With the support of a silent benefactor, the day was filled with food, outdoor activities, and a scenic walk to Monymusk House, giving participants both memories and skills to carry forward.

“This project reflects the values that also underpin HR Hub Plus,” said Edward Obi. “Whether in business or the community, it’s about empowering people, building confidence, and creating spaces where everyone can thrive.”

One participant shared anonymously:

“Before joining this programme, I felt very nervous about using computers and doing things online. Now I feel more confident, and I can help my children with schoolwork and even apply for jobs myself. The programme also gave me friends and memories I will never forget.”

Through HR Hub Plus Ltd, Edward continues to champion people-focused approaches in the workplace, while through Diversity Bridge SCIO, he extends that commitment to the wider community. Together, these efforts demonstrate how business and social purpose can work hand in hand.
