Join the Capable100 and be the foundations of Our Inclusive Community Project

Join a movement of 100 visionary companies pledging to support disabled people across Scotland and the UK.

As a Founder Member of the Capable 100, by pledging £10,000 over three years, your company will help raise £1 million to reduce the final £3.8 million funding gap in Capability Scotland’s £28 million campaign - creating an exemplar facility a true national resource designed through co-production with the disabled people we support.

By joining the Capable 100 you will be placing your company at the forefront of disabled and inclusive care in the UK, creating a legacy of support to the disabled community.

Why OICP Matters

  • Flood Risk - Current service in Perth is a flood risk due to climate change over the last 40 years, leaving its residents feeling worried/anxious.
  • People - The new service will provide modern, safe spaces for 100 disabled people. Where they can thrive, build relationships, confidence and be happy, with access to all local amenities and transport links on their doorstep.
  • Community - The community hub at the service will be open to the public, with the hydrotherapy pool providing benefits to groups such as parent and babies swimming clubs, building memories and bonds that last a lifetime.

Your pledge will

  • Enable the creation of a world-class residential and day service, a true national resource.
  • Support a facility that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being.
  • Champion co-designed spaces that reflect the voices and needs of disabled people.
  • Help build a community in which every disabled resident or day service user can thrive.
  • Create a Legacy of support to disabled people in Scotland and the UK.
