Scottish HGV operators can get up to £20,000 of free expert support to make their fleets greener, more efficient, and cheaper to run.
The SME Fleet Analysis Support Scheme, funded by Transport Scotland, is available for small and medium-sized HGV operators looking to explore zero-emission options.
The scheme provides specialist analysis and tailored plans to help businesses identify the best opportunities for upgrading or replacing vehicles, optimising routes, and future-proofing their operations.
Applications are open until 9 December 2025, and hauliers are invited to apply for the funding in partnership with specialist transport experts who can help them plan for net zero.
What is on offer
Eligible operators with fewer than 50 HGVs can receive:
- Up to £20,000 of fully funded support
- Expert guidance on the most suitable zero-emission vehicles for your operations
- A customised roadmap covering vehicles, charging or refuelling infrastructure, and available funding options
Why it matters
Decarbonising HGV fleets can feel complex, with challenges around infrastructure, vehicle costs, and technology choices. This scheme removes those barriers by funding expert analysis that delivers practical solutions specific to each operator.
