The Chamber is set to launch a brand-new podcast, Take A Seat, with the first of nine episodes going live on Tuesday 3rd February.
Hosted by the Chamber’s CEO, Alison Henderson, Take A Seat will shine a spotlight on voices from the Chamber’s Gold and Platinum members, bringing together business leaders, entrepreneurs and decision-makers for open, engaging conversations.
Each episode will feature a different guest and theme, shaped by the individual’s business journey, sector and expertise. Topics covered in the episodes will include innovation, growth and the realities of running a business today. Episodes will also, where relevant, align with national awareness days, weeks or months, helping to connect local business conversations to wider national moments.
Speaking about the launch, Alison Henderson, CEO of the Chamber, said:
“Take A Seat is a brand-new space for real conversations with the people who make our business community what it is. Our members have such brilliant stories and experiences to share, and this podcast gives us a new way to amplify those voices. Whether you’re a business owner, leader or simply curious about the journeys behind successful organisations, there’ll be something in each episode to take away.”
The podcast is a new addition to the Chamber’s membership offering, launched as part of its new membership model introduced in January 2026. Designed to enhance the overall value of membership, Take A Seat provides Gold and Platinum members with a platform to share their expertise, raise their profile and contribute to wider business conversations, while offering listeners access to practical insight, lived experience and thought leadership from across the Chamber network.
The podcast forms part of the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to support, connect and champion its members, delivering fresh, accessible content that reflects the diversity and ambition of the local business community.
A second series of Take A Seat is planned for late spring, and the Chamber is inviting Gold and Platinum members who would like to be considered as guests to get in touch. The podcast offers an opportunity for members to share their story, highlight their business and take part in conversations that matter to the wider business community.
Take A Seat will be available on Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube from Tuesday 3rd February, with new episodes released weekly.
