V&A Dundee has launched a striking World Cup Football Scarf, celebrating Scottish creativity, national pride and the power of young voices at the heart of design.

Created by Dundee-based artist Aoife Cawley in collaboration with young creatives from Rockwell Learning Centre — Jayden, Lachlan, Rachael and Sid — the scarf is a bold fusion of contemporary design and traditional Scottish symbolism.

Designed to mark the excitement and shared spirit of the World Cup, the scarf features a vibrant palette of blue accented with pops of pink and yellow, reflecting both modern creativity and youthful expression. At the heart of the design sits a playful unicorn motif, alongside a subtle nod to Flower of Scotland, Scotland’s national anthem, weaving cultural heritage directly into a classic football accessory.

The scarf is now available through V&A Dundee, offering fans and visitors alike the chance to wear a unique piece of collaborative Scottish design that celebrates both the World Cup and the creative talent of young people across the country.
