For 25 years, the Dundee Stars have become part of the fabric of our beautiful city, not just a team on the ice, but something the people of Dundee and the surrounds truly care about.
From the early days of the BNL to the packed EIHL nights at the Dundee Ice Arena, the club has grown all thanks to it’s fans, volunteers, staff, sponsors and partners.
There have been amazing highs, tough seasons, massive moments, and some truly unforgettable ones, all of it shaping what the Stars mean today.
It’s never just been about results, it’s about the people in the stands, the players on the ice, and the connection that’s built over time. After 25 years, it felt like the right moment to take a step forward.
This new logo isn’t about forgetting where we’ve come from, it’s about recognising it, and building on it.
It keeps that sense of identity, but brings a sharper, more modern look that reflects where the club is heading.
This new design captures Dundee’s identity as the City of Discovery, featuring a shooting star rising upward and angular forms inspired by the iconic V&A Dundee.
It also pays tribute to the RRS Discovery, the first vessel ever built specifically for scientific research, which is docked just outside the museum.
This is the next chapter in Stars evolution.
A chance to grow further, to push on, and to keep building something that Dundee and the North East of Scotland can be even more proud of.
Our badge may look different, but what it stands for has and never will change.
