ATL Turbine Services has been recognised at the 2026 Scottish Engineering Awards, receiving the Business Transformation Award following a year of significant organisational change.
The award highlights the company’s efforts to strengthen its operations and implement strategic improvements during a challenging period for the business. Over the past 12 months, teams across ATL have contributed to a programme of change focused on operational efficiency, new processes and the adoption of technology.
Operations Director Wayne Thomson credited the collective effort of employees across the organisation, noting that the transformation was driven by a shared commitment to the company’s strategy and long-term goals.
He highlighted that staff played a key role in supporting the rollout of new systems and approaches, contributing to a turnaround that has helped position the business for future growth. The changes have resulted in a more resilient organisation with a clearer focus on operational excellence.
The recognition from Scottish Engineering reflects both the scale of the transformation undertaken and the impact it has had on the company’s performance and outlook.
