Dundee Heritage Trust, the independent charity that operates Discovery Point & RRS Discovery and Verdant Works Museum, has launched a new way to support the work of the charity.
By joining the Trust’s newly launched Patrons Giving Circle, supporters will join the charity’s “community of dedicated heritage lovers” and support the Trust’s charitable aims; including the continued care and preservation of the Royal Research Ship Discovery, the 1833 A-listed Verdant Works, and the Trust’s Recognised Collections of National Significance; community outreach and engagement to thousands of learners every year.
The Patrons Giving Circle was launched at an exclusive event in Discovery Point, where attendees heard from David Henry, Chair of the Dundee Heritage Trust, and Dr. John Shears, Expedition Leader of the Endurance22 Expedition that found Shackleton’s lost shipwreck in the Weddell Sea.
Patronage tiers start from £20 per month, unlocking a range of rewards and exclusive opportunities to go behind-the-scenes with teams caring for some of Dundee and Scotland’s most inspiring heritage at two of the city’s beloved historic attractions.
