TC Group brought colleagues together from across its seven offices to celebrate outstanding employee achievements at its 2nd Annual Abacus Awards, held at Discovery Point in Dundee.

The event marked the firm’s first Abacus Awards ceremony since becoming TC Group (previously MMG Chartered Accountants) and provided an opportunity to recognise their employees who consistently demonstrate the organisation’s core values.

The Abacus Awards invite nominations from employees throughout the year, celebrating those who excel in their five core values: delivering quality work on time, doing the right thing, adapting to change and continually developing, maintaining a positive can-do attitude and being a reliable team player.

More than 198 nominations were received this year, highlighting the strong culture of peer recognition across the business. Each winner received a certificate, trophy and a voucher of their choice.

To allow full participation, TC Group closed its offices for the day, bringing together employees for a programme that included company updates, the awards ceremony, team quizzes and interactive recognitions, followed by a full team lunch. The event provided a rare opportunity for colleagues to connect in person and celebrate shared successes.

This year’s award winners were:

Together We Triumph Award (Reliable Team Player): Fawn Leonard, Administrator
