The Dundee Economic Summit will return on Tuesday 17th November 2026 at the Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa, bringing together business leaders, policymakers and members of the local community for a day of insight, discussion and collaboration focused on the future of Dundee and the wider regional economy.
The Summit returns following the outstanding success of the 2025 event, which attracted more than 180 delegates from across the region. Last year's event featured entrepreneur and digital pioneer Martha Lane Fox, founder of lastminute.com, as keynote speaker and generated important conversations around economic growth, innovation and opportunity.
The 2026 Summit will continue that momentum, providing a platform for influential voices from across business, government and the public sector to explore the opportunities and challenges shaping Dundee's economic future.
The event will be opened by Mark Flynn, Leader of Dundee City Council, with contributions from representatives of the UK Government and other key stakeholders. Attendees will hear from a range of expert speakers and participate in panel discussions covering investment, skills, infrastructure, business growth and economic development.
Panel sessions will feature representatives from Summit sponsors Hillcrest, Azets and SSEN Transmission, offering valuable perspectives on the role of business and industry in supporting sustainable economic growth across the region.
The Dundee Economic Summit aims to foster meaningful dialogue between decision-makers, employers and community representatives, creating opportunities for collaboration and helping to shape a shared vision for Dundee's future prosperity.
Alison Henderson, Chief Executive of Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce, said:
“Dundee has a strong track record of innovation, collaboration and ambition, and the Dundee Economic Summit provides an important opportunity to bring together the people and organisations helping to shape the city's future.
She added: “This summit will encourage meaningful discussion, fresh thinking and new partnerships that can help unlock the city's full potential. We are delighted to open registrations and look forward to welcoming delegates from across the region and beyond to what promises to be a valuable and impactful event.”
The Dundee Economic Summit is expected to attract delegates from a wide range of sectors, including business, education, government, energy, finance, construction and community organisations.
