As a member of the trade delegation accompanying the FCO Minister for the Middle East and North Africa, Tobias Ellwood MP in January 2015, you will benefit from the special arrangements that have been made for the visiting delegation. This includes a preferential rate at the Marriott Hotel Zamalek, discounted tickets on Egypt Air, fast-track visa arrangements at the Egyptian Consulate in London, and free transport in-country to and from the main venues.
Delegates will be responsible for arranging their visas and booking and paying for their air tickets and accommodation. UKTI Egypt will provide in-country transport for all events relating to the programme, including transport to and from the airport.
Delegates are, of course, welcome to make their own separate arrangements while in Egypt, but the support and advice that UKTI Egypt can offer individual clients will be limited during this time.
VISA REQUIREMENTS
Business visit visas are needed for conferences, seminars and courses and should be arranged in advance from the Egyptian Consulate in London. The cost is £20 (single entry) or £35 (multiple entry) and the visa normally takes 5 working days to process.
