The Dundee & Angus business community has a long tradition of supporting local causes, and Scottish Autism is inviting Chamber members to help make a lasting difference to autistic people and their families across Scotland.
One of the charity's most important annual fundraising activities, the Scottish Autism Annual Auction, is now seeking donations of prizes, experiences, services, vouchers, event tickets and unique items that supporters would love to bid on.

While Scottish Autism delivers services across Scotland, the charity has strong roots within the Dundee and Tayside community. Our Tayside Services, based in Dundee, support autistic people and their families throughout the region, helping individuals build skills, access opportunities and live fulfilling lives within their local communities.
Many of the people we support live, work, learn and contribute to communities across Dundee and Angus. The generosity of local businesses plays an important role in helping us enhance opportunities, provide specialist resources and deliver services that have a meaningful impact close to home.
Funds raised through the auction help sustain a wide range of services, including family support, advice services, creative opportunities, community programmes and projects designed to help autistic people thrive at every stage of life.

The impact of this support can be seen through inspiring individuals such as Louise Johnstone, a local autistic woman supported by Scottish Autism's Dundee Connections Service.
Louise recently completed the challenging Rat Race 100-mile route from Edinburgh to Glamis Castle, an extraordinary achievement that tested both physical and mental endurance. Her journey inspired supporters across the region while raising awareness of autism and the importance of creating a more inclusive society.
Through her campaign, #100StoriesFor100Miles, Louise has shared powerful stories that challenge misconceptions about autism and celebrate the strengths, talents and achievements of autistic people. Her success demonstrates what can be achieved when people are given the right support and communities come together behind a shared cause.
