SSE has welcomed 29 new trainees and apprentices as part of its ongoing commitment to developing the skilled workforce needed to deliver the UK's clean energy ambitions.
The latest intake will help support the expansion and maintenance of the transmission network that powers homes, businesses and communities across the country.

This year's cohort includes:
- 3 Substation Maintenance Apprentices
- 11 Trainee Engineers
- 6 Trainee Project Managers
- 9 Trainee Site Supervisors
These new recruits will play a key role in helping to build, maintain and strengthen the transmission infrastructure needed to support the UK's transition to net zero and meet growing energy demands.
