Female and non-binary business founders from across Angus are invited to attend HERizon, an informal networking event designed to bring entrepreneurs together to connect, learn and share their experiences.

Taking place on Wednesday 26 August 2026 at The Harbour Visitor Centre, Arbroath, the event is being delivered by Business Gateway in partnership with AccelerateHER and will feature guest speaker Lucy Nicoll, founder of Nicoll HR.

The evening will offer attendees the opportunity to hear first-hand insights from experienced business leaders, explore the challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurship, and build meaningful connections with other founders in a supportive environment. Event organisers hope the gathering will encourage collaboration and provide valuable inspiration for those at all stages of their business journey.

Business Gateway highlights the importance of strong networks for business growth, noting that having a community of like-minded individuals can make a significant difference, whether someone is launching a new venture, working within a small team, or looking to scale an established business.

Alongside guest presentations, attendees will have the chance to network, exchange ideas and connect with other entrepreneurs from across the region in a relaxed setting. Refreshments and light snacks will also be provided.

The HERizon event takes place from 5pm to 7pm on 26 August 2026 at Unit 9, The Harbour Visitor Centre, Fishmarket Quay, Arbroath.
