Business leaders across Dundee and Angus are being invited to take part in an immersive cyber incident simulation designed to help organisations strengthen their response to cyber threats.
Hosted by Shackleton Technologies, Silent Intercept is a free interactive exercise that places participants in the middle of a developing cyber security incident, challenging leadership teams to make critical decisions under pressure.
Taking place on Thursday 3 September at Discovery Point, Dundee, the exercise will simulate a real-life cyber attack scenario where information is limited, pressure is mounting, and every decision could affect the outcome.
Rather than focusing on technical solutions, Silent Intercept is designed for business leaders and decision-makers, helping them explore how their organisation would respond to a major cyber incident. Participants will work together to assess risks, make strategic choices, and understand the wider business implications of a cyber attack.
The event will begin with registration from 9.30am, followed by the interactive exercise running from 10am to 12pm. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in an optional guided tour of RRS Discovery following the session.
With cyber threats continuing to evolve and impact organisations of all sizes, the exercise offers a valuable opportunity for leaders to test their preparedness in a safe and collaborative environment.
Places are free of charge but limited, and early registration is encouraged.
