Climb the Mast and experience a unique fundraising challenge!
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure aboard RRS Discovery on 27th September 2026!
Participants will take on the challenge of climbing the ship’s historic rigging, following in the footsteps of the original 1901 crew as they scale the towering foremast of Robert Falcon Scott’s famous Antarctic exploration ship.
This thrilling experience rewards climbers with spectacular views across the ship and the city of Dundee from high above the deck. The adventure finishes with an exciting zip-line descent of over 40 metres, bringing you back down to the city’s vibrant waterfront.
It's a unique opportunity to step into history while taking on an inspiring challenge in support of NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation.
We are covering the sign-up fee and ask every participant to set a fundraising goal of £500. Participants will receive a t-shirt. You can enter our events as a corporate charity fundraiser taking on a personal challenge or as part of a team with friends, family or colleagues.
