Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce has officially revealed the winners of the 2026 Chamber Champion Awards, its biggest and most community-driven celebration yet, combining record attendance, more than 3,300 public votes and 39 finalists from across the region. Dundee Bairns took home the top prize, while seventeen-year-old entrepreneur Ben Cargill of RØAMR Clothing triumphed as the overall Individual Winner.
On the day, 11 awards were presented to outstanding businesses and individuals from across the Chamber’s regions, recognising exceptional achievements in innovation, upskilling, community impact, people development and net-zero commitments, and underlining the breadth of people and organisations working to make Dundee and Angus stronger.
The celebrations began with a welcome from Chamber CEO Alison Henderson and brought together businesses, individuals and organisations from across Dundee & Angus to celebrate the achievements and contributions of those making a positive difference across the region.
17-year-old Ben Cargill, founder of RØAMR Clothing, walked away with two awards on the day: People Pioneer Individual Winner and Chamber Individual Champion, while Dundee Bairns took home the prestigious title of Chamber Business Champion, earning them an advertising package worth £5,000 with category sponsors STV.
Speaking about his success on the day, Ben said: "I started RØAMR Clothing just nine months ago, back in January. At the time, I thought I was starting a clothing brand - to sell clothes, build a business and hopefully make some money. But what I’ve really started is a community.
RØAMR continues to grow bigger and better every single day, and that wouldn’t be possible without the people behind it. To every customer, everyone who has shared a post, worn RØAMR, told a friend, supported an event, or simply believed in what I was building - thank you."
Category winners included Change Centre Dundee, Robertson Construction Tayside, NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation, Flora Gardening and EQ Accountants. Individual winners on the day were Babajide Olowookere (The Astute Group), Kirsty Beaumont (University of Dundee), Andrew Batchelor (Dundee Culture) and Ben Cargill (ROAMR Clothing). Laura Costello of Dundee FC Community Trust, it Group Electrical and Angus Business Hub were also recognised as Highly Commended finalists.
Each winner was selected by an independent judging panel for their commitment to excellence, innovation and positive impact within the Dundee & Angus area.
Speaking about the event, Alison Henderson, CEO at Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce, said:
"One of the things that makes these awards so special is the breadth of people and organisations they bring together. Our winners come from business, education, health, culture, charities and community organisations, but they all share the same ambition to make Dundee and Angus stronger.
That is the real convening power of the Chamber: creating the space for different sectors to connect, celebrate one another and recognise that our region succeeds when we work together. We’re incredibly proud to shine a light on their achievements and congratulate all our winners, highly commended finalists and everyone who took part in this year’s Chamber Champion Awards.”
