DACC Behind The Scenes at DUFC

Dundee United opened their doors last night (Thursday 23rd April 2015) to Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce members and their families for an exclusive behind the scenes look at Tannadice and their newly refurbished GA Arena formally known as Gussie Park.

This DACC event was to support the charity ‘United for All’ who are raising funds to purchase moulded football boots to be used at the GA Arena by children who otherwise would not be able to use the facility as their families can’t afford the correct footwear.  

The charity have already made a donation of £1000 which has been matched by ArabTRUST, but the Chamber raised an additional £241 at the event from raffle sales. Congratulations to the winners of the raffle who won themselves a signed football and Shirt donated by DUFC. 

Dundee United “legend” Hamish Mcalpine along with Team Captain Sean Dillon and players Callum Butcher, Nadir Ciftci, Blair Spittal, Henri Anier, Callum Morris and Charlie Telfer all supported the event by attending to interact with guests and help raise funds for the charity.

In conjunction, the newly formed United Ladies of Tannadice are collecting used boots in good condition to donate towards the project. So if you have ANY sizes of moulded football boots that you would like to donate you can hand them into Tannadice Park.
