Once again, W. L. Gore & Associates was chosen as one of Europe\'s favorite employers. With its subsidiaries in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom the technology company came in 3rd in the category \"Best Multinational Workplaces\" at the presentation of \"100 Best Workplaces in Europe 2015\". The annual benchmarking survey is organized by the Great Place to Work Institute.

\"We have our associates to thank for this excellent result,\" says Ann Gillies, an HR leader at the British Gore subsidiary. \"They interact with a great deal of fairness and respect for one another. Our associates in all countries always reassert the very real significance of these values.  So, as partners, we all work together to continue developing Gore and driving it forward. Receiving this citation tells us in essence that we are on the right track.\"

The high placement in the \"100 Best Workplaces in Europe 2015\" represents a continuation of Gore\'s outstanding results from the previous year. For the eleventh time in a row, the company has managed to establish itself on the list of 100 best European employers. More than 2,300 companies from 19 countries took part in the 2015 international benchmarking competition. The placement is based on, among others, a survey of over 775,000 employees at participating firms. The survey is conducted along with a so-called culture audit, which consists in an analysis of the measures applied in human resource and leadership work.

Europe\'s 100 best employers are listed in three categories: Best Small & Medium Workplaces, Best Large Workplaces and Best Multinational Workplaces. The Great Place to Work Institute describes the latter category as companies with over 1,000 employees that have made it onto at least three national lists and have a minimum of 40% of their employees (or at least 5,000 employees) working outside the country where the company is headquartered.
