A local engineering firm have just put the final touches to another exciting project for one of their major clients. Dundee-based BRE, who specialise in compressed air engineering, have just completed the supply and installation of a brand new Atlas Copco GA90 VSD Oil Free CLASS ZERO Z air compressor, alongside a number of ancillary products, at a major Angus-based pharmaceutical firm to support their new adjuvant manufacturing facility.

Highlighting some of the key factors influencing the client’s choice of the GA90 VSD Oil Free CLASS ZERO Z Model, Managing Director Bob Robertson explained that “the Atlas Copco CLASS ZERO range has a number of benefits. It provides pure clean air, and has no risk of contamination”, which is hugely important for pharmaceutical processes. Mr Robertson also claims that the “hugely reduced energy usage and costs associated with the use of variable speed drive technology was a major reason behind the adoption of this particular air compressor”.

BRE have been working in partnership with Atlas Copco air compressors and ancillaries for over 25 years. According to Mr Robertson, the close working relationship with industry leaders Atlas Copco has allowed BRE to provide clients with the “optimum tailored solutions to all their compressed air requirements”. A highly experienced firm, BRE was actually formed 30 years ago this month and continue to operate from their premises in Dundee’s West Pitkerro Industrial Estate.
