Winter White campaign set to deliver more than £60 million to the Scottish economy.

VisitScotland's Winter White campaign, promoting "things to see and do" over the Winter period across Scotland, is in its 5th year and will use TV advertising, direct mail and partnerships with leading Scottish brands to reach 17 million potential UK visitors to encourage them to book a trip to Scotland.

Dundee and Angus has much to attract the visitor over Winter, such as catching a glimpse of white whooper swans in the Montrose Basin Estuary, star-gazing at the Mills Observatory and viewing the 2011 Year of the Light Celebrations in Arbroath. VisitScotland's outdoor exhibition kit will be at Dundee's Overgate shopping centre on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd of January, packed with information for both visitors and locals.

A new free iPhone app, VisitScotland Days Out, was recently released on the App Store, and is ideal for suggesting activities and days out, including The McManus, Sensation - Dundee Science Centre and Angus Folk Museum. Find out more about the VisitScotland Days Out app.
