The Great ‘Dundee’ Charity Bake Off

25th September 2015

Come along to the Doubletree by Hilton, Dundee and join Dundee’s own Mary Berry and Gordon Ramsay as they compete against each other in the most amazing fun Bake Off on Thursday 29th October 2015 from 7.00pm to 9.30pm.

James McIntosh

Join Dundee Alumni and world award winning cookery author James McIntosh who will host the evening and put Mary and Gordon through their paces with his special recipe that will be unveiled on the evening.

Dennis the Menace

Dennis the Menace has also taken the time out of his busy schedule with the Beano courtesy of DC Thomson to add that bit of spice into our baking during the evening.

As well as being themed for Halloween the evening will also look at the History of Dundee through the Jute, Jam & Journalism.  Hence the Bake Off recipe to include good old Dundee Marmalade supplied by Mackays of Arbroath.

This will be an awareness and fundraising evening for the Dundee Botanic Garden Endowment Trust, highlighting the importance of Plants to our everyday life.

Tickets are priced at £15.00 and are available by contacting Gordon Ramsay

We would like to say a huge thank you to all our supporters:

University of Dundee

Nobel Prize winning poet and honorary graduate Seamus Heaney has described the University of Dundee as ‘having its head in the clouds and its feet firmly on the ground.’ The ability to be both aspirational and down-to earth and to blend ground-breaking intellectual achievement with practical applications, has given the University its distinctive character.
