Food Hygiene Training Company Adds to Record of Success

Food hygiene training specialist DM Training is celebrating the success of one of its students who has won a coveted award. Shaye Carman, of Scottish Seafoods in Shetland, has won the Highfield Award for Intermediate Food Hygiene from The Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS).

Under the tutelage of DM Training, Shaye achieved the highest mark out of 800 people in Scotland who completed the course.

The REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene Course is designed for Supervisors, Managers, Head Chefs and Business Owners who have responsibility for the safety of food within their premises.

Managing Director of DM Training Donna Maver said, “We are delighted at Shaye’s success. This is the 4th time in 5 years that we have had a student attend the award presentation and it’s a great accolade for both us and our students.”

The award was presented during the recent Annual Presentation of Awards run by REHIS (The Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland), held at the Apex International Hotel, Edinburgh on the 19th November.
