It’s now just one day away! In less than 24 hours, tens of thousands of shoppers will descend on Overgate for Black Friday.
Retailers have slashed their prices for this unmissable event with scores of top brands offering exclusive discounts. Trading hours will be extended with the centre opening at 6am and most stores trading 8am – 8pm, allowing everyone to shop for less and for longer.
Argos and Superdry will launch Overgate’s Black Friday with a 6am opening and other participating retailers include Debenhams, Carphone Warehouse, French Connection, Garage Shoes, H&M, Ness, Office, Quiz, Stormfront, Swarovski, The Fragrance Shop, The Perfume Shop, Wallis and Yankee Scotland as well as Holland and Barrett and Millie’s Cookies.
Standout discounts range from a whopping 50% at French Connection, New Look and Wallis in Debenhams and the same on selected gift sets from The Perfume Shop, to a fantastic 20% on all own brand shoes at Office. Swarovski’s ‘Sparkling Offers’ promotion has 30% off selected lines with additional discounts on other ranges for one day only through a ‘sparkling envelope’ in-store incentive.
Superdry is offering 20% off its mens and womens Windcheaters and iconic Graphic Tees along with the Herders accessory range.
Yankee Candle will present a bag of goodies with every £30 spend and even more must-have treats on spends of £60.
H&M is also embracing the promotional spirit through its Buy More, Save More incentive with 10% off a £25 spend, 15% off a £50 spend and a fantastic 25% off a £75 spend. Ness has a variation of sale items too as well as further reductions on all SS15 stock with items as low as £5.
What’s more, The Old Course Hotel, St Andrews will be in the centre running a competition to win a £200 gift card to spend at the hotel. The perfect treat, ensuring one lucky winner will be festive-ready!
Speaking ahead of tomorrow, Overgate Centre Manager Malcolm Angus said,
“Overgate is geared up for Black Friday with many retailers heavily promoting their promotions and products. Last year we saw 51,000 customers come through Overgate’s doors and we are anticipating another very busy day. My advice to customers would be to arrive early as all our car parks will be full before 10.00am.”
