A Dundee community centre turned into a mock crime scene during a CSI workshop today (Thursday 3 December 2015).
Fifteen local residents took part in a fingerprint recovery and identification session at Mill O Mains Community Pavilion as part of the CSI CS-WHY CS-HOW community engagement project which Dundee Science Centre has been delivering.
The free project was made possible by Scottish Government funding aimed at projects to engage ‘hard to reach’ audiences and revolves around a murder mystery scenario which captures the imaginations of the learners as they figure out clues and information week by week.
Today was the third of four sessions, with others focused on crime scene investigation, an introduction to forensic science, and DNA evidence. Next week, during the final session, the mystery will be solved.
