The five strong panel wanted to speak to various members of the design team to understand the key issues of the building design and personally inspect the implemented solutions. The award submission was entered on the back of their highly successful launch of the Space Solutions office in Glasgow.
The reason for the final agreed design and the subsequent interest of the BCO judging panel was to understand how they incorporated great collaborative working space, a feature that Director Derek Binnie is always keen to discuss.
“Businesses face an increasing challenge to deal with changing work styles, whether flexible working, collaborative meeting space, etc. A significant number of our teams work across our five offices, so it is important to be able to physically accommodate them when and where required. The winners of the Scottish BCO event, hosted by Dougie Donnelly on the 15th April, will be automatically submitted for the BCO UK awards later in the year.
