Deadline approaches for organisations to apply for Flexible Training Opportunities through Skills Development Scotland.
There is still time for organisations to apply to Skills Development Scotland for Flexible Training Opportunities funding, but the deadline is fast approaching: applications must be received by the 31st of March (although the training can take place as late as 30th June 2011).
The initiative will fund up to £5,000 in training costs for sole traders to business with up to 150 employees. We have put a Flexible Training Opportunities FAQ on the site, covering all you need to know about what training is eligible for funding support.
Flexible Training Opportunities were explained by Skills Scotland at DACC's Productive People: Profitable Business seminar last month. Investors in people Scotland and Healthy Working Lives also explained the support that they can offer to businesses that want to create a more productive workforce.
All the presentations from Productive People: Profitable Business are now available for Chamber members to download. Please log in to the Chamber website, and follow the Event Downloads link in the left column.
