Over 230 employees from across the Hillcrest Group of Companies gathered at the University of Dundee’s Bonar Hall to attend their music festival themed staff conference last week.

Attending staff, who represented all six of the companies within the Hillcrest Group, were treated to their most spectacular conference ever; complete with dramatic lighting, music and, of course, a giant ‘H’ sitting centre stage.

Titled ‘H in the Hall,’ in homage to Scotland’s biggest music festival, the conference featured a line up including: a series of videos looking at different areas of the Group; team challenges and discussions; a glitzy awards ceremony celebrating employee efforts; a festival food van themed lunch of burgers and hot dogs; and an update from the Group Chief Executive, Angela Linton.

Angela Linton said: “Each year the conference grows both in terms of spectacle and staff engagement and there is no doubt that ‘H in the Hall’ has been the best one yet.

“The Hillcrest Group is very diverse and staff work in a wide variety of roles so the conference is a great way to bring everyone together and provide an insight into each area of operation in an entertaining and engaging way.

“The conference is also a fantastic opportunity to sit back and take stock of what we have achieve throughout the last 18 months and to recognise the positive difference our teams make to people’s lives.”

Plans are already underway for the Hillcrest Group’s next staff conference which will take place in 2017 during Hillcrest Housing Association’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
