Duncan of Jordanstone graduates' animated film nominated for Oscar.

The Illusionist, a Scottish animated film part-developed at the South Tay Street studio of ink.digital, will go up against heavyweights Toy Story 3 and How To Train Your Dragon in the Best Animated Feature category at this year's Oscar ceremony.

A total of 32 graduates and current or former members of staff from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art worked on The Illusionist in a variety of roles.

ink.digital owner Bob Last said, "A great deal of the film was carried out by ink.digital on behalf of Django Films right here in the heart of Dundee's cultural quarter by a youthful team led by Scottish graduates, many from Duncan of Jordanstone."
