The service will run on a trial basis for three months. The new offering aims to extend the Apex Hotels ‘warmer welcome’ by providing guests with complimentary transfers to and from Dundee Airport and Dundee Train Station. Many of the hotel’s corporate guests will also benefit from a complimentary drop-off service to their place of work during the trial period.
The news comes hot on the heels of Dundee Airport’s news of offering flights to Amsterdam seven days a week due to huge demand for the service. The hotel’s General Manager, Brett Davidge comments: “We are always looking for new ways to improve the guest experience, this new shuttle service will add value for our guests and help them move about the city with ease. We want to make the journey to and from the Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa as seamless and enjoyable as possible.”
The shuttle service will use black, Apex Hotels branded Mercedes and will also be available for add on services at a chargeable rate including private tours, tourist attractions tours, golf course transfers, Edinburgh and Glasgow pick-ups or shorter inner Dundee transfers.
