Business Management Placements: Developing Students Contributing to Business

Published

1st December 2016

Dundee Business School at Abertay are looking for employers to participate in a placement initiative aimed at providing 3rd year Business and Management Students with real life work experience. In return it is hoped that they will be able to make a meaningful contribution to your business.

In particular they are looking for small business start up; accounts/finance; mortgage finance; property sales and marketing.

The idea is that they join your company for 1 day a week for 10 weeks (preferably a Wednesday) to put their knowledge and skills into practice, so as

•             to develop the skills and behaviours required by Business Managers

•             to investigate and report on a current Management/Business issue identified by the student and/or the placement provider
