Four award nominations for Aubergine Restaurant.

The Craigtay Hotel, along with its Aubergine Restaurant (which opened only eight months ago), have been nominated in four categories at the Scottish Hotel Awards: Rising Star Informal Restaurant 2011, Young Chef of the Year 2011 (Andrew MacIntosh), Friendly Welcome Award 2011 and the Design Commendation 2011 category (Sarah Boyle).

Owner Owen Boyle said, 'We are absolutely delighted at this news which represents significant recognition from our industry professionals. These awards are highly sought-after and it's particularly pleasing given that we are a small family-owned hotel group competing against some of the larger groups and some of the finest hotels and restaurants the length and breadth of Scotland. Our strengths are the consistent friendliness and quality of our service, the ambience we have created within both premises and, of course, the excellent food. I'd like to sincerely thank the teams at both hotels and restaurants for getting us this far!'

Described as 'the flagship awards for the Scottish hotel industry', the awards are in their eighth year and the ceremony will be held in Glasgow on Sunday the 27th of March.
