Pupils at the High School of Dundee received a first-hand insight into the legal profession, when they welcomed Scotland's Lord Advocate, the Rt. Hon. Elish Angiolini, QC.

The Lord Advocate visited the High School of Dundee on Friday the 4th of March to address F5 and F6 pupils.

The event was arranged by Head of English at the High School, Jane Phillips, who said 'This is a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to hear from a truly inspirational individual. Elish Angiolini was the first woman, the first Procurator Fiscal and the first Solicitor to be appointed to the role of Lord Advocate, and she will provide our pupils with a fascinating insight into the law and our justice systems. We are extremely grateful to her for taking the time to meet our pupils, many of whom hope to follow in her footsteps and pursue a career in Law.'
