Royal Mail Delays Decision On Crichton Street Collection Office

Further investigations to take place over next six months before final decision is made.

Following representations by DACC to Royal Mail expressing our concerns about their plan to close the Collection Office at Crichton Street, Dundee and transfer the services to their other facilities at Edward Street and Baird Avenue, we have been advised that they have decided to delay a final decision for six months while they carry out further investigation into the best options to provide collection services in the DD1, DD2, DD3 and DD6 areas.

If your business would be affected by the closure of Crichton Street and if you have any ideas to present to Royal Mail that would make retaining Crichton Street a viable option for them, please let us know by contacting alanmitchell@dundeeandanguschamber.co.uk.
