Fashion Live 2017 – Overgate, Dundee

Overgate in Dundee is the place to be this Saturday 25^th and Sunday 26^th March as Spring Summer arrives in style with the centre’s FASHION LIVEevent which takes place 12pm – 4pm.

The free showcase, hosted by top Scottish style authority Susie Cormack Bruce will present the hottest new season trends across menswear and womenswear, all available from Overgate, live on stage. These include collections from: 

Claire’s * Debenhams *  Footasylum * Garage Shoes * New Look * Next * Oasis * Primark * Quiz River Island * Schuh * Superdry * Topshop * Topman * Warren James

In what is sure to be a popular segment, Emma Hayley Rinaldi, Lifestyle Editor of No1, the country’s top lifestyle glossy, will present Steal the Stars Style.Join Emma as her favourite looks by male and female celebrities including Helen Mirren, Holly Willoughby, Alesha Dixon, Idris Elba, Nicole Scherzinger and David Gandy are presented on models, live on stage, featuring Overgate retailers.

In keeping with FASHION LIVE’s timing across Mother’s Day weekend, top Scottish model Emily Shakarji and her equally stylish model mum Irene Shakarji will join hosts Susie and Emma on stage.

Experts from leading cosmetic brands Urban Decay, Benefit, Chanel and MAC will be on hand to share their tips on how to achieve those essential beauty tricks of the trade including how to achieve the perfect smoky eye, face contouring with success, skin colour analysis and the latest grooming and skincare trends for men.

Shoppers are invited to put their best fashion foot forward and be in with a chance of winning a fabulous VIP headline prize. To enter, Eve Conroy, No1’s photographer will be snapping the style of Overgate fashionistas across the weekend with a FASHION LIVE gallery on Overgate’s Facebook showcasing the weekend’s standout looks. The shopper with the most likes will win a must-have prize of:

What’s more, across the FASHION LIVE weekend there will be a whole range of other fantastic prizes up for winning including a Swarovski rose gold necklace courtesy of Warren James, a £30 gift card by Next, Perfect Brows, Vinylux Manicures and cut and blow dries from the award-winning Elegance and Gentleman’s Lounge, and frozen treats and teas by AdoraBubble Tea.

Aspiring models will also have the opportunity to meet talent scouts from top international agency Select Model Management who will be in Overgate on the Saturday as part of the Scout Me Scotland tour.

FASHION LIVE is a free event and takes place on Saturday 25^th and Sunday 26^th March, 12pm– 4pm. Seating is on a first come first served basis.
