About Lindsay…
Lindsay is an experienced Accountant having worked in both privately owned SMEs and listed companies. She has had financial and operational responsibilities, including experience of consolidated accounting, project accounting, co-ordinating ERP system implementations and overhauls of entire business processes. As an ACCA member with a post-graduate degree in law, she can apply her experience and analytical skills to a wide range of business situations and sectors.
Experience
Lindsay completed her legal education in Scotland, and began work for First Group plc. After undertaking her ACCA, she moved into the oil and gas sector working as a Project Accountant for Expro North Sea Ltd where she was primarily responsible for developing project budgets totalling over £200m+ per annum. She then moved into a role at STATS Group Ltd, where she started her first role with an SME. She undertook a wide variety of roles within her three years at the company, including Financial Accountant, Project Accountant and being the Finance liaison for all global regions of the business in the implementation of the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, including being key to a total overhaul of business processes.
She is flexible and a resilient self-starter, working well either alone or as an effective team player. She is a target-driven individual, action-orientated with a can-do attitude and a fine eye for detail.
