Scone Palace appoints Stephen Brannigan as Head of House Opening

Scone Palace has appointed Stephen Brannigan, a contract caterer with an impressive pedigree in event management, as Head of House Opening.

Stephen, formerly General Manager with Elior UK at Rangers Football Club, has joined the historic Perthshire visitor attraction in a newly created role in which he will oversee the catering, caretaking and housekeeping teams and be involved in the Palace's accommodation lets.

Having also worked for Compass Ireland and Thistle Hotels, Stephen is well equipped to continue to run and promote Scone Palace as both an award-winning attraction and a top choice of event venue, according to senior staff. The historic venue hosts top events such as Rewind Festival and the Scottish Game Fair, as well as welcoming more than 100,000 visitors a year and hosting conferences and weddings.
