We’ll be using the Business Model Canvas during the Workshop. It’s a visual tool, designed to help people think differently and to create new and innovative business models. If you’re an entrepreneurial spirit and constantly thinking about how to create value and build new businesses, or how to improve and transform your organisation, then this tool is for you

Here’s what’ll happen on the day:

Discovery Session

This is where we get to know your business and where the challenges & opportunities lie. It’s a ‘warts and all’ look under the bonnet of what you do, how you do it and why. We’ll explore things like the organisational structure, how you generate and report management information and your financial performance. We’ll also dig into your marketing strategy, the sales process, and examine key performance indicators like customer churn and complaints.

Business Modelling

Using the Business Model Canvas, we’ll map the business as it currently operates. This process should involve a diverse group of people from across the organisation. It’s not just something that ‘the management’ should do, as often they don’t know what really happens anyway.

Goal Setting

Once we’ve mapped the current business model, then we can start setting targets for the year ahead. These could be financial – turnover, profit, cash flow. They could also be customer focused – satisfaction, retention rate etc. We’ll spend time making sure that we’re setting targets that will achieve the strategic objectives for the business.

Performance Measurement

After the goals have been set, we need to consider how they’re going to be measured and the frequency of review. Have you got the right systems in place to measure what needs to be measured? We’ll consider these questions and more.

Implementation

You’ll leave with a clear Plan of Action that you can go back and start implementing right away. This process is practical and Action-Focused.
