Xplore Dundee needs YOUR views

Dundee’s main bus operator is continuing to gather the views of people in the north east of the city as it considers possible changes to Service 32/33.

Xplore Dundee has arranged a public meeting this Sunday (3rd December 2017) at 2.30pm at Fintry Parish Church to discuss the options available to improve the punctuality and reliability of this key route.

There will be another opportunity to talk to managers about the proposals on Monday 4th December during Fintry Community Council’s meeting at 6pm at the Finmill Centre.

Both meetings are open to anyone from the various areas served by the 32/33, including Fintry, Linlathen, Maryfield, Mill o’Mains, Stobswell and Whitfield; local residents are encouraged to turn up and speak directly to Xplore Dundee’s decision makers.

Managing Director Elsie Turbyne said:

“Our aim is to find the best way of providing a reliable and punctual bus service which can be accessed by as many areas as possible. This might mean making some changes to the existing route – or it might be that our passengers would prefer to leave things exactly as they are.

“It’s over to the public to let us know what they think. We’re welcoming all feedback and asking people to submit their comments to us at these public meetings or via email, comment cards or by phone.

“We aren’t going to rush into any decisions on this complex issue and want to make sure we take the time to gather a wide range of opinion from all sections of the local community.”
